This short course provides a 10-hour introduction to some basic AI techniques: search, MDPs, and games. The course has been held in cooperation with the Department of Economics, Management and Quantitative Methods of the University of Milan.

• A general introduction to AI, problem modeling (June 29th, 2019, 3 hours)
• Search techniques, depth-first and breadth-first search (July 6th, 2019, 1 hour)
• Search techniques, uniform-cost search (July 13th, 2019, 3 hours)
• Informed search and A*, introduction to games (July 27th, 3 hours)
